Who am I? I'm none other than Hong Meirin, Gensokyo's number one gate guard girl! Whoever wants to get through this gate has to get through me first! And I never lose! No, seriously!

Sanae stood in front of the Scarlet Devil Gate, curiously gazing to the top of it, having never seen the gate before. "What is this place...? Such an extravagant mansion beyond these cold, rusty gates... I wonder who lives there." She approached the gates, placing a hand on it.

Well, of course! Chinese food is my specialty! Peking duck, sweet and sour pork, dim sum... You name it.

W-well, that's... I've never tasted myself, but I've got a pretty good idea of what I taste like! And I imagine myself to be... not delicious. At all.

Anyway... As for the food, I'd be happy to, but I'd have to make sure Sakuya didn't notice... And I'd have to borrow some stuff from the kitchen... I might get killed.

Hmm? But how would you know that you don't taste good if you've never tried? I know I don't taste that well, but maybe someone more... alive would taste better?

And how can you be so sure that you'd die! You shouldn't be so negative... But, if you're so sure if you'll die, maybe I could help in someway or something?

Luke stared blankly at the huge gates before him- and, in essence, the Scarlet Devil Mansion as well. "What a curious mansion..." he thought out loud.

Truth be told, he had no idea where he was. Though, he could tell it wasn't London... at least, he didn't think so.
